I have always been fascinated by people who can read business financials like they’re a comic book. Chris Hammond has been in that fraternity all of his professional career (since 1995) and he’s recently taken his knowledge to the Business Brokering World. While he’s a whiz at digesting balance sheets, income statements and schooling me on the concept of EBITDA, his new role requires more of a personal branding touch. He can totally do it, particularly since he can give tremendous value for those of us who would like to know the valuation of our businesses better…especially if we think they’re worth more than what reality says.
